Unitil Promotes Richard Heath, Ray Letourneau and Eric Werner

Hampton, NH; November 4, 1999 – Unitil Corporation (AMEX:UTL) today announced the promotion of three senior distribution operation center executives.

The promotions are:

 

  • Richard Heath from Vice President and General Manager of Unitil/Concord Electric Company (CECO) to Vice President of Unitil/Concord Electric Company and Unitil/Exeter & Hampton Electric Company (E&H).
  • Ray Letourneau from Operations Manager at Unitil/Exeter & Hampton Electric Company to Director of the Unitil/Exeter & Hampton Electric Distribution Operations Center.
  • Eric Werner from Operations Manager at Unitil/Concord Electric Company to Director of Unitil/Concord Electric Distribution Operations Center.

Mike Dalton, President and Chief Operating Officer of Unitil said, "Richard, Ray and Eric have a tremendous amount of electric operations experience, as well as an unsurpassed commitment to their customers. Richard Heath is a utility executive with over 30 years experience with Unitil. He will be responsible for high level community contacts as well as insuring coordinated and consistent high quality distribution services among the two distribution operation centers. He is a former Exeter Budget Committee Chair and Exeter Selectman. He is actively involved in the Concord community, serving on the Boards of Second Start, New Hampshire Technical Institute, Capital Region Development Council, State Fire Marshall’s office and First Night New Hampshire. He is also President-Elect of the Concord Rotary and serves on committees for the Capital Center for the Arts and the United Way.

Ray Letourneau has 17 years utility operations experience including various engineering and management positions working at PSNH and most recently at Unitil/Exeter & Hampton Electric. He will be responsible for the day to day operations at E&H. He has a BSEE from Clarkson University and an MBA in finance from New Hampshire College. He resides in Hampton, NH with his wife and two children.

Eric Werner has 24 years of electric utility operations management experience at Central Maine Power Company and recently Unitil/Concord Electric Company. He will be responsible for the day to day operations at CECO. He has a BS in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University and an MBA from Thomas College. He is also a licensed professional engineer in the states of New Hampshire and Maine.
